Beautilful and Precious

Like a pearl lying inside a sea shell at the bottom of a very deep ocean is serene, beautiful, glowing, heavenly and contented in its own world...

We humans too have something hidden deep down within us...which is likewise very beautiful, blissful and a gift of God to us....one needs to just feel it..

Challenge

Everyday you do the things which you know. Sometimes you take up a challenge and try to do some thing which is new and maybe not easy for you. You are being tested once you start such venture. In the middle of it you have the choice of leaving it in between or keep fighting till you succeed or till you reach dead end.
If you find success, its best. This is what you strive for always. But even if, in rare case, the success does not kiss your feet then you would have a satisfaction of giving your best. You had taken out each sweat from your body and given the best shot. This process had made you stronger and taught you so many things.

Human Vs Nature

We humans are attached to nature. Imbalance in the nature causes problems to us and imbalance in us causes problem in the nature (like terrorism etc).

Love these lines of 'Wild Child' song from Enya.

Let the rain fall down
Everywhere around you
Give into it now
Let the day surround you
You don't need a reason
Let the rain go on and on

What a day, what a day to take to

What a song it is !!!!!!!!!

Movies Vs. Society

It is said that movies reflect the society. I have been comparing 2 movies released some years back. One is Yuva and other is Rang De Basanti.

In one movie, the students are directionless. They just eat, drink and make merry. They don't love their country, India, at all. Rather they seem to make fun of it. Someone else makes them realize that they are born in a great country and should respect it and make efforts to improve the things. Short sighted as they are, they choose the short cut and murder the culprit (the corrupt politician) And themselves get killed at the end. If one is to follow its message then it means that we should start killing people rather than improving the system.

In another movie, the students are involved in social welfare projects. They take the corrupt politicians head on via democratic means. One turns down offer for higher studies in US and another refuses the job in USA. They fight with local politician who is a murderer and corrupt via democratic means. They never plan to murder him rather they start working more energetically in telling people about their ideas and exposing that bad man. They take more painful path. They fight elections, even after all the troubles they face, and win. They become the part of the system so that they can improve it. They keep having 'that' fire burning in their hearts.

We all know which movie was hit. And we still keep blaming the politicians.

Regret

Sometimes you do certain things for which you regret later. Similar thing happened to me yesterday. We had been to Ayurvedagram. We had taken appointment with the doctor earlier. We were told that at 4.30 PM doctor can see us.

When we reached there at 4.20PM, they told us that the doctor was on visit for resident guests. I was told to wait for 30 mins. I waited for 15 mins and kept telling them after that to phone doctor to come and see us.

He came after 40-45 mins. He told us that he was seeing a disabled patient. He had some issues. I felt really bad. It made me feel guilty. Maybe I could have had some more patience and waited for some more time instead of keep pressuring the reception to call the doctor.

Next time, will have more patience.
