Nostalgia

Missing days of taking bath in the rain, going for a long walk aimlessly, playing gulli-danda and pithu, the hard work done in  making a kabaddi ground and then playing there, eating mangoes in  hot summer,  long swings during Teej, sitting by window and seeing the people walking by and people cycling,

Those were the days when making a paper boat used to be fun and seeing it float on rain water would give the utmost joy. Solving Pahelis aka riddles asked by friends used to fulfill childish egos. Black and white movies on BW TV and chitrahaar on wednesdays would be much awaited for.

Grandmother love was unconditional.  Used to feel important when she would save us from the scoldings of father.Never had heard the terms like mp3, ipod etc.

Those days will never come back...but will remain immortalized within me.

Goodness attacked

Ravanas attacked Ram at RamLila ground last night. Another battle of Good vs evil has started. And it will last for a long time..because this time Ravan has hundreds of heads and is more evil and more powerful.

Also, Second freedom movement has begun too. The british rulers think alike attacked peaceful protesters. Even children and women were not spared.

Why I support Ramdev anti corruption movement

For the simple reason, whenever I have lived in US and Germany, one question kept coming to my mind. The question and the thought was why can we as India be not better than these countries? What they have which we don't have?

back to India

Came back to India today. Reached home at 4 am and have been working till then. Now eyes heavy with sleep..but have to avoid it so as to get rid of jet lag.
Went out for half an  hour in the car. Its strange, it took me a while, some 15-20 mins, to come back to India driving mode, since was driving in US and had gotten used to people following the traffic rules.. :-)
