Illusion

Life has absorbed me, going low and peak
But without you all looks worthless and bleak
The hollowness is getting bigger
Perception is changing, not for the better
Do I live in fantasy, or its all dark
I know you do exist, at least in my heart
Come gladden me with your sight
Make me strong and prove me right

Successes are nothing if are not for you
Failure are useless if you don't console
When will I see your sparkling shining eyes
Which will add soul to my life?
Till then I will drag on
And the hope is what i will live on.

Facebook status

My FB status for today

  • Patriotism need not be reserved for only 15th August. It is a thought which should govern our actions everyday. Getting fed up with cheap show of it on TV.

  • h
I used to wonder about people during pre-independence days who allied with dark forces and went against their own country. Now, when I see Chitambaram, Sibbal or Digvijay singh i clearly see traitors reflection

  • If you have not read Immortals of Meluha and the Secret of Naga, then your life is still incomplete

Independence Day

On 64th Independence day of India, only things we notice are that our country is surrounded by problems. These problems can be solved and the dark  forces in the form of sibbals, chidambarams and dynastic politics can be defeated if and only if we realize our true identity.

Who we are and what we want to be should drive our emotions, actions and reactions. We are not drunk, jeans clad, consumerist creatures but we are decedents of wise generations who gave yog, ayurved and mathematics to the world.

flipkart vs infibeam

Flipkart is any day better than infibeam. Infibeam has problem of taking orders for books which they dont have and then after 4-5 weeks they cancel it. Also, flikpart home delivery is very fast.

I read that amazon will start India operation in 6-7 months. It will give good choices to customers.

TV ads

TV ads in India have become more creative. Liking ad for olx.in site and the ad for SAB tv. No vulgarity, more fun and freshness.
On the other side ad for timberland lacks creativity.

Nostalgia

Missing days of taking bath in the rain, going for a long walk aimlessly, playing gulli-danda and pithu, the hard work done in  making a kabaddi ground and then playing there, eating mangoes in  hot summer,  long swings during Teej, sitting by window and seeing the people walking by and people cycling,

Those were the days when making a paper boat used to be fun and seeing it float on rain water would give the utmost joy. Solving Pahelis aka riddles asked by friends used to fulfill childish egos. Black and white movies on BW TV and chitrahaar on wednesdays would be much awaited for.

Grandmother love was unconditional.  Used to feel important when she would save us from the scoldings of father.Never had heard the terms like mp3, ipod etc.

Those days will never come back...but will remain immortalized within me.

Goodness attacked

Ravanas attacked Ram at RamLila ground last night. Another battle of Good vs evil has started. And it will last for a long time..because this time Ravan has hundreds of heads and is more evil and more powerful.

Also, Second freedom movement has begun too. The british rulers think alike attacked peaceful protesters. Even children and women were not spared.

Why I support Ramdev anti corruption movement

For the simple reason, whenever I have lived in US and Germany, one question kept coming to my mind. The question and the thought was why can we as India be not better than these countries? What they have which we don't have?

back to India

Came back to India today. Reached home at 4 am and have been working till then. Now eyes heavy with sleep..but have to avoid it so as to get rid of jet lag.
Went out for half an  hour in the car. Its strange, it took me a while, some 15-20 mins, to come back to India driving mode, since was driving in US and had gotten used to people following the traffic rules.. :-)

Myth - Unified India

In perverted education system of ours we are taught that britishers were to first to unify whole India. Well, it is wrong...read on below page. Chandrgupt was first one to do it. He did much better than britishers. He ruled even till Afganistan. Under the guidance of only one like him Chanakya, Chandragupt ruled over Akhand Bharat. Chankya had imagined one India long long time ago and he made Chadragupt do it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chandragupta_Maurya
(see the right bottom  most map of India.)

contents from the page

"After Chandragupta's conquests, the Maurya Empire extended from Bengal and Assam[6] in the east, to Afghanistan and Balochistan in the west, to Kashmir and Nepal[7] in the north, and to the Deccan Plateau in the south.[8]

Circus

Why is media in India so obessesed with circus called royal marriage between 2 creatures in UK? The produce of outdated royal system in foreign country dont deserve any mention anywhere in our country. We have enough problems ourselves to deal with.

Toughest job

The toughest job in the world is being a traffic police and governing traffic in Bangalore. Must be tough on them to stand in dust, pollution, noise etc and deal with people who are in hurry and always ready to break rules.

Driving aimlessly

Yesterday drove aimlessly on Bangalore roads...rather on outskirts of Bangalore. It was nice, the FM music and weather were both great.
Then watched Dum maro Dum. In this movie, Abhishek showed some glimpses of the acting brilliance which resembled his father's.

some lines

Some lines I wrote on the plane from Delhi to Bangalore

Music flows and reverberates in my soul,
The beauty has touched something which I thought was gone,
I see it travelling through the air,
and making everyone around quite aware

Its you who is the creator of this serene vibration,
Be with me, accept me and take me to liberation

Jhansi Rani

Watching Jhansi Rani serial on TV and they write some facts about her on the TV scroll...here are some

- Rani of Jhansi fought for continuous 24 hours sitting on horse with Britishers.
- She had controlled a uncontrolled elephant all by herself
- The queen of england victoria herself wanted to see Jhani Rani LaxmiBai killed.  Why do we like cruel, exploitative queen n her workless next generation of that country?

March against corruption

"India against corruption" (indiaagainstcorruption.org ) had organized a peaceful dandi march against corruption in Bangalore. Went to attend that, It was from sirsi circle to Gandhi statue at MG road. Around 600 people had come. Couple of foreigners were also there. TV9 and 1 more channel covered this event. It was a good experience to express yourself, in non-violent way, against corruption, corrupt policies and corrupt politicians and corrupt bureaucrats.

Now I know that I can do something, if need be, against this disease other than just talking.

Interview

Just watched interview of Chetan Bhagat on TV. Couple of thought provoking things he said.

First, we should stop being afraid and being shy of having strong views on governance issues like corruption (e.g. 2G scam). And if we keep ignoring having views on these then we can surely become clerks of the world but we can never become a developed nation.

My comment - it has become fashionable for people to say things like politics is bad or I dont like politics or i cant understand politics. But these educated illetrates dont realize how much harm such attitudes is causing to our nation, because these people too are voters and public awareness is the engine which gives direction to a nation.

Second, he mentioned that we are a country in love with dynasty. Like if people are told that a simple guy from a simple family has acted in a good movie, not many are going to notice it. But if people are told that son of a superstar is acting in some movie, we ...Indians...become possessed by it. This reflects itself in suppressing and disrespecting talent. And that talent either leaves our country or never materializes.

My comment, apply the same thing to politics and see how  much our country is being run by emotions (cheap emotions) rather than patriotism and rationalism.

Cheapness

There was a rally of Bharat Swabhiman at Ram Lila Maidan at Delhi over the weekend.

- Why thousand of workers of Bharat Swabhiman were stopped at the  borders of Delhi?
- Why the ram lila ground was filled with water (there was no rain) the night before the rally?

Congress is in power at both Delhi and at center. Do we still have doubt about this corrupt and traitor party?

Rally still happened :-) .

Rahul Gandhi is KGB agent

How long we will keep him and his italian mother in power?

Quotes from the link

"She cited KGB correspondence about payments to Rajiv Gandhi and his family, which had been arranged by Viktor Chebrikov,[23] which claims that KGB chiefViktor Chebrikov sought in writing an "authorization to make payments in US dollars to the family members of Rajiv Gandhi, namely Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Paola Maino, mother of Sonia Gandhi" from theCPSU in December 1985"

Independence Movement

We all get an impression that before 1947 almost all of Indian citizens were fighting against britishers. This is not true. Only some patriotic Indian freedom fighters had sacrificed everything for the country's freedom. And few more were indirectly contributing to it by donating money and/or by providing financial, logistical and moral support to these great souls.

Now we stand at the cross roads again. Faces changed but the system remained same. The system which britishers had designed to loot and exploit India is adopted as it is by their Indian followers. So the people still face similar issues. And this explains the arrogant, incompetent attitude of bureaucrats and politicians. They are our servants and are appointed to serve us and not to exploit us. They think corruption is their birth right.

So, there is a dire need to change the current system. It asks for second freedom movement. A set of patriotic people have come together and are creating awareness amongst people for the same. This groups includes dedicated and accomplished leaders like Baba Ramdev, Sri Sri Ravishankar,Kiran Bedi, Mahamood Madani , Anna Hazare, Archbishop Vincent M Concessao, Swami Agnivesh and many more. The complete list of these freedom fighters is at http://www.indiaagainstcorruption.org/aboutus.php .

Who are opposing these people ? Obviously the followers and slaves of britishers. And some examples of these people are Congress MP from Arunachal Pradesh (who called Baba Ramdev 'bloody Indian'), senior congress leader like Digvijay Singh and couple of more congress leaders. I am not going to one sidedness news of english media like CNN-IBN, NDTV and times now.Our media houses are shallow and do reporting without any research.

Now is the time for citizens of India to decide, if
-  we want to be counted amongst developed, progressive, powerful countries in the world..where citizens are respected and cared for
- we want talent and intellect to be respected and rewarded in India
- we want to change the current exploitative political and bureaucratic system
- we want proper roads, proper electricity, proper education and good job opportunities for every countrymen
- we want to be counted as a nation where even the poorest has access to justice, food, shelter  and a decent way of life and no one ever dare take these away from him

And if we want these then we have to stand and throw the current political party in power away. We have to also understand that a hugely diversified billion plus populated country can not be made the property of one ruling family. We deserve much better and we must and we will get it. There is no concept of 'prince' like rahul gandhi in our democracy. They can have our respect but not the power to rule us just because they belong to one family.

Also, we have to change ourselves. We have to learn to believe in  ourselves. We have brain, knowledge and thousands and thousands of years old civilization behind us which has given the mankind many good things like yoga, ayurveda, maths and so on. Lets not feel let down by people pointing at us about the cast system, dowry and many social evils. Societies make mistakes, US had slavery and still has discrimination against colored people...germany had hitler...etc ..we all learn and move on. So will India.

We have to believe that We as a nation called India can be leader and not followers World will learn our language and we will provide the direction to nations. English can be used in India but Indian languages are the ones which will get respect and encouragement. We will do whatever it takes to change the system. We will be fearless and take our risks.

I am determined to vote this time to have my say. And I have decided that people who are responsible to current plight of India , who have ruled India for 50 plus years, who have no vision of a great Indian nation and consider it their birth right to be 'king' , 'queen' or 'prince' of my country because they think that they are born in a dynasty, can not be allowed to rule us any longer. I will be a traitor if i will ever vote for them and so will be any person.

Hotel @Sunnyvale, CA

Hotel people seem to be taking some special care of me by providing some free goodies...I had scolded them last week for not arranging shuttle to office at the time we requested. Not to mention the apology letter too they sent to my room.

They really treat and take care of their guests very well...

San Francisco

Went to see San Francisco today , courtesy a colleague. He showed us around. We visited

- Bay Bridge
- Golden Gate
- Twin peaks
- ATT Stadium from outside

* Bay Bridge - Nice construction of the bridge and the market below was good time pass. It was quite pleasant to walk along the sea lanes. We sat there on benches near the sea.It was a nice day with nice breeze. Lots of people were jogging as day was good....Seeing the wax museum too was a good experience so was walking around in the market in that area. Had pizza  there as lunch...most shops serve see food for obvious reasons.

* Golden Gate - What a marvel !!! A proof of engineering excellence and great human imagination. Constructed over pacific ocean. Total length of cable(steel) used is 80,000 miles. The construction was amazing and engineering design was fabulous. Its construction started in 1933 and finished in 1937. The engineers, contractor etc names were written on the stone wall there. Can we imagine such project in India? Still a long way to go...

* Twin peaks - The scenery of SF from twin peaks at night was breath taking. I had not expected much from it as we see city lightings from some hill at many places in India..but this was quite a sight. I am glad that I went there. It had gotten bit cold at night and with sea nearby winds were colder but 40-45 minutes spent will remain memorable...

All in all a good day..saw good places..lots of desis everywhere...and had a good time..thanks to colleague ..Deven....at US HQ of the company...

2010

I officially declare year 2010 is Corruption year in India..and Congress party managed to achieve the target of having maximum corruption in one year...good work congress...

3rd world countries

Western people call our country as 3rd world country. If they are 1st world country then which countries are 2nd world countries?

Well, in my view we are better than them in every respect ..just our government is full of corruption...

US Chennai Consulate

If one ever goes to US consulate at Chennai for visa interview, s/he will realize that most polite and humane person is the american who will interview you.

Indian staff, starting from security at main gate, security which sees the documents for possible restricted items, the people who first check your interview time and date etc and take your fingerprints., the person who  manages the crowd near the visa interviews windows. are all either rude or arrogant or both.

What is it with us that make us arrogant and even misbehave with fellow Indians while in company of  or working for non-Indians. We should learn to give more respect to our countrymen and treat them with respect no matter how poor the person is.

Plane de-boarding

Why do air hostesses say Bye or Goodbye while de-boarding the plane, when they know that no one cares about it...does it not feel insulting to them that very few respond to their byes?
