Die another day mistake

Watched "Die Another Day" yesterday.  One big mistake in the movie, in the last part of the movie when Pierce Brosnan is in invisible  car (whose camouflage was broken by villains bullets) and is being followed by the villain in another car, Brosnan's car number plate colour changes from yellow (which taxis use) to white (for normal car) while he keep sitting inside the same car and never get out as the car was constantly chased.

0.44 - white  (it was yellow till 0.41 seconds)

Wonder how same car becomes a taxi and then normal car :-).... director could have been more careful.

India's Independence Day

Happy Independence Day to all of us Indians today. On this auspicious day I affirm my belief to be fortunate to been born in India. I re-pledge that in my very own small ways I will contribute to make things better in our great country as we have tons of problems. Even dog cleans the place which he uses and we being descendants of a great civilization, we have to justify it by our actions.

Rainy day

It was a rainy day. I was around 14 yrs of age then. I was at home alone and it was raining heavily. I heard the door bell ring. I saw an unknown man of around 45 yrs of age after opening the door. He mentioned my father's name and my uncle's name. My uncle also lives in the same city as us. I let him in thinking he is a family friend.

He sat on sofa and started a chat himself. He complained that some part of the land where my uncle is constructing the house belonged to him. He presented many scary situations like he might call police, will go to court and will call rowdies to scare my uncle etc. I just listened as he would not let me speak. He was not angry. He was talking in calm and normal voice. I felt my uncle has really done some illegal act and I was very scared that something bad might happen to him.

After 25 minutes, the rain stopped. He saw that it is not raining and got up. He said now that rain is stopped he will leave. He mentioned that he came to our house as he did not had umbrella and he did not want to walk in rain.

I was puzzled. I talked to my uncle next day and asked him if he has grabbed any land. He answered negatively. Even after many weeks/months/years there was no police complaint or court case or any rowdy threatening anyone in our family.

Maybe I should have asked stranger's name.

Answer is simple, until we create our own identity, respect our own languages over rotten un-scientific english ,become a civilization with spine, make the best of our own culture rather than blindly following gutterish western culture and feeling good about doing what white skins do , till then we will always be considered as followers with no mind rather than a leader.
